This album is the soundtrack to the one-hour ABC-TV special of the same name; Travis co-starred with Chuck Norris as a singing cowboy actor who befriended a young runaway while filming a new movie. The soundtrack is dominated by new songs written in the old cowboy-movie style, and Travis sings them with all the sumptuous tone and masterful phrasing you'd expect. You can tell Travis really loves these songs by the way he holds certain notes in his throat and savors them, as if he were reluctant to let them go. --Geoffrey Himes
