Canadian crooner Michael Bublé makes an auspicious debut, showcasing his mellifluous voice and classic-pop sensibilities. The twenty-five year old arrives under the auspices of Paul Anka himself, who helped choose tunes for Michael Bublé, including his own "Put Your Head on My Shoulder." While his smoldering looks and swinging tempos suggest a new-model Harry Connick, Bublé has more pop appeal than the New Orleans heartthrob, offering renditions of songs by the Bee Gees and George Michael.
